Frequently Asked Questions

How does the ordering process work?

  • Step 1: Use our 3D Configurator to design your custom shed exactly how you want it.
  • Step 2: Submit your design and we'll contact you to confirm the details and finalize your order.
  • Step 3: Make sure your site is fully prepped—clear access, level ground, and enough space for delivery.
  • Step 4: Delivery is typically scheduled 3–4 weeks after your order is finalized.
  • Step 5: We deliver your fully pre-built shed to your site.

How long does it take to get a building once I order it?

If you custom order a shed, build time typically ranges between 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the time of year and our current production schedule.

Can you build a shed onsite?

Yes, we can. If there’s no access to deliver the shed fully assembled, we offer onsite construction for an additional charge. Just let us know during the ordering process, and we’ll make the necessary arrangements to build your shed right on your property.

Why are onsite buildings more expensive?

Because we can set up a production line in the shop, we can build sheds there more efficiently and therefore more cheaply. Building onsite takes longer, so our labor costs are higher.

Do I need a permit?

That depends on the size of the shed, where you’re placing it, and your local town or city regulations. We recommend checking with your local building department to see what’s required in your area.

What kind of site prep is required?

Please see our site requirements page.
